Peter John Feldsine

Paternal Side:

John is Peter's grandfather and Margaret his grandmother. John was born on December 31, 1899! Phil's siblings were John Feldsine, Jr., Ann Walsh and Catherine Heer; all deceased, leaving Phil as the last of this family line.  John Jr.'s wife is Fran Feldsine, living in Pittsfield, MA and Jake Walsh who was married to Ann lives in Poughkeepsie. Catherine's husband, John Heer is also deceased. Peter has 16 cousins on this side of the family!

William, a German immigrant was Peter's great grandfather on his dad's side of the family. William John Feldsine was born on January 20, 1867, in Ahrensboek, Germany. He married Julia A. Caroll, an Irish immigrant, in 1896 after he arrived in New York. They had seven children in 13 years. He died on May 19, 1941, in Poughkeepsie, New York, at the age of 70. 

Peter and Chris were impressed to see their ancestral history right before their eyes and took pictures when on their Summer 2007 college viewing trip.

Maternal Side:

C. Ernest Dawn. Professor Emeritus, Department of History at the University of Illinois is Peter's grandfather and Pansy (deceased) his grandmother. Carolyn has one sister, Julie Kuykendall who is married to Ron  and together they have one son. They live in Oakton, Va.
